I admire and love so much Venetia's Scott work!
She is my top stylist! Love her '70s RETRO style, and the sensuality of her photos........! Her work is so influential.
This is my favourite shoot of the year from Self Service magazine , Eddie Campbell by Venetia Scott SS/11....
Love the amazing location of the shoot!  with the lemon trees and the massive tall different shapes cactus and all the colours that are portrayed in the most unique way.
The outfits are perfectly balanced with the colour of nature, so beautiful!

Sylvie Guillem for French Vogue.....

The reason for this post is that i went to see Sylvie Guillem performing last week in Sadler's Wells theater , under the title 6000 miles away 
Mind blowing performance .....really left me speechless.....
The photos above are from French Vogue where she directed and photographed herself , she didn't wanted any photographer to shoot her as she claimed that she doesn't wanna look like a model ! And no one can capture the real her better than herself .
She wanted to capture who she is and the result of course is brilliance!!!
Her body, her spirit and her ability to dance the way she dances has made her the most amazing dancer-performer of all times!

So my birthday was yesterday and I have arranged to go and see the most amazing dancer of all times performing for only 3 days in London, Sylvie Guillem this extraordinary dancer at the age of 45 she is still performing , her body and her movement is mind blowing, the performance is called 6000 miles away and the choreography is from the 3 most important choreographers of the dance world!

So excited looking forward to it !!!

Or the all flower print is so beautiful , quite vintage look, and also love the bright fuchsia pants with her classic collarless white blue shirt.
On the other hand is not much different from what she usually designs but it has a very strong identity .

French Vogue.............Amour!

This is the best issue of French Vogue I have seen since Emmanuelle Alt took over!!!
The whole issue is dedicated to Greece and it's beauty....and Im not saying that because I am Greek ,partly yes, :)
It is very important to see other countries supporting and trying to help us (Greece) with any possible way, especially now that the whole economic crisis in Greece is affecting so much the country and the people.......:(
Through fashion you can pass a very strong message to the people in the world , i believe, and that's what Vogue did to me and to many other readers.
This issue has so many beautiful shoots , it really reminds me Vogue in the '90s (grew up reading and admiring the '90s shoots) and i think that's what they wanted to achieve and they have done it so well! Bravo Emmanuelle !!! Beautiful clothes make-up Atmosphere YES! that 's the word Atmosphere ................
Really happy to see that French Vogue is still one of my favourite Vogue magazine's in the world :)
I thought that since Carine left Vogue it wouldn't be the same but that is the issue that made me rethink.
Even though I don't speak French I buy it and try to figure out the meaning from the English words......hehehe silly but it works for me.
Another good factor is that it makes me wanna learn French! so I can read it without the help of my mum who when I recently was in Greece I was keep on asking her to tell me every single article's meaning! poor mum.......
Amazing issue , it glorifies Greece in the best possible way , with great fashion , art and beautiful -magical places one can visit.

Thanks Emmanuelle one more time for supporting the Greek spirit so well.........I guess you have tasted it  so you can pass the message so beautifully......
